What is difference between seamless Pipe and ERW pipe?

A Seamless steel pipe is extruded and drawn from a billet whereas a welded (ERW) pipeis produced from a strip that is roll formed and welded (ERW )to produce a tube. Since aSeamless steel pipe offers a higher range of safety measures it is more expensive than a( ERW) welded tube.

What is meant by ERW pipe?

ERW pipes means Electric Resistance Welded Pipe.
