Novec 1230
Novec 1230, fluid is a low global warming potential Halon replacement for use as a gaseous fire suppression agent. Novec 1230 is manufactured by 3M. 3M Novec 1230 fluid does not deplete ozone and has a global warming potential of 1 over 80 years, equivalent to that of carbon dioxide.
FE13
FE-13TM is the preferred Halon replacement (Halon 1301) in total flooding and inerting applications where its low toxicity provides for improved safety margins, the protected spaces are large, the cylinder storage area is remote from the protected space, or where the temperatures are likely to go below 0°C (32°F). Of the clean agents available, FE-13TM has the lowest toxicity and is the safest for protecting areas where people are present. FE-13TM provides the ultimate in human safety while protecting high-value assets and business continuity with a clean agent.
Foam Fire Suppression Systems
Foam suppression systems are especially useful for buildings that handle anything flammable. The makeup of the foam is water, air and foam concentrate. Together, the mixture creates a blanket and extinguishes the flames by cooling and coating the blaze, eventually smothering the fire.
